OUR STORY

The bunnet - Scots word for cap - has always belonged to the people. For centuries, it has been woven into the fabric of Scottish life, worn by Highland and Lowland farmers, shipyard workers, and labourers, shaped by the land, the weather, and hard graft. The bunnet has always been practical, purposeful, and quietly iconic.

Bunnet was born in much the same spirit: from the adventures of a mother, father, and son walking the Scottish hills and beyond, in all weathers. As lifelong cap wearers, we set out to create something that honoured Scotland’s heritage while being designed for the way people live today. Built for movement - whether running, walking, golfing, at the gym, in the city, or out on the hills - every Bunnet is made to be worn, not kept.

A bunnet worn over time carries its own story. Passed from one generation to the next, it holds the memories of the people and places that shaped it.

In 2026, on the slopes of Criffel in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, Bunnet was reborn. Not to replace what came before, but to stand alongside it. The traditional bunnet remains. Ours simply continues the story.
